paid 35.00 tax in i tried it last night for the first time. I find it is very loud at moments then settles down. loud enough that someone will ask what is happening in kitchen. ( i could live with that for now ) before this i used to use pan on stove to boil water and forgot pan on stove so nearly had a fire so for this reason i bought kettle at least has safety shut off on it .. the other issue i have is kettle never empty's complete there is always a couple of drops that remain in kettle that bugs me ( how do you want it to dry ) i took some photos i went to store and most of other models have the lip at the edge also ..REALLY these designers today they do not know what they are doing.. and yet people buy ..for me i have no choice i nearly burnt down my house so i have to go with a kettle . but i will say this at the end it is very nice looking works like it is suppose too and compared to other models i would buy this one even with the loud noise when it starts to boil water.

THIS IS MY OPINION AND MY VIEW i bought it because it was on sale and they made it look like you catch all kinds of channels installed it and i only got 3 local channels. witch you can get just get by putting in your old cable wire as a ground . anyway to make a long story short FOR ME NOT WORTH it having it plugged in using power. is good for back up in case OF... ..but between me and you when will that happen. i will be returning and asking for my money back .

color is black does,t really go with my front door frame ( WHITE ).. but i will try it ..it would have been better if color was white you can place inside the house next to window and would not stand out that much i do not think i would buy again just because of color .. but that is me product works fine
