The unit came with a 9V battery in the box. It appears a little confusing to use, especially the resistance measuring. But overall it's probably going to do the job.

Unfortunately the first shipment arrived broken (the screen was cracked) but Primecables sent another one shortly after I reported the issue - thank you. What I dislike about the unit is the fact that upon turning it on the screen turns white and shows a very large PrimeCables logo. I understand the need to show the brand, and I like PrimeCables very much, but this seems to cheapen the product. Otherwise great deal, I'd buy again!
