Epson 212XL T212XL Ink Cartridge Combo High Yield BK/C/M/Y

I give these cartridges a low rating because I am disgusted by the price. Although I’ve tried other cartridges, both recycled and generic, including the alternatives on this site (not that much cheaper) I’m forced to buy Epsom because nothing else I’ve tried gives me the right colours. (Alternative Black is the worst). This is my third Epsom printer, and I’ve always been able to use generic brands or remanufacted. Not so with the Expression XP4100 which relies solely on it’s manufacturers brand. Also having difficulties with delivery by UPS as I also receive a phishing email after ordering, not sure if this is fault of ShopperX or UPS. Needs looking into.

I decided to go back to Epsom after trying remanufacted and generic cartridges. Though colours have been satisfactory, I’ve yet to find a black cartridge that gave me more than a dull grey, so wanted to compare with the original. However, E. still continues to overcharge on their ink, so I’m only giving them three stars for that reason. Delivery was a little slower than usual, but still ok. However the package was huge for a small item, so shame on you Shopper for not paying attention to the waste.

Replacement 212XL T212XL Ink Cartridge Combo High Yield BK/C/M/Y for Epson® Printers

These are a little pricier than some other generic cartridges, but appear to be worth the difference. So far I’ve only used yellow and cyan and I’m happy with those. The real test will be when I use black, as that always seems to be a problem with the horrid little XP4100.
