Modular F Type Keystone Jack - White - PrimeCables®

So, not what I was expecting. The cat5e keystone jacks snap in and hold very nicely, but these do not. Any pressure at all and it was popping out of the keystone, or sitting kittywonkis. It was a bit of a fight, hindered by being installed in an awkward location. I'll probably stick to one piece full faceplates in the future. I only got this one this time because I had one spot that forced me to share a single gang face plate with a cat5 connection.

These work well, just, really make sure you don't have a good hole in the wall, and solid drywall. If your greenhorn is opening holes with a ballpeen hammer or some other blunt instrument, there isn't enough face material on the bracket to hold. Likewise, if the nosepicking buffoon you hired insists on using power tools to tighten it down, again, it's not the brackets fault it failed. Remember, you get what you pay for when you hire staff, but you're getting a good bracket for your buck with this product.

The little piece of paper with the instructions didn't need to be included, but it's nice that it was. I could hand these to the junior installers, and they could figure it out on their own. Amazing.

Tab is a bit on the soft side. I had to find a different wall plate (vs the primecables others I bought) that was extra tight. Can still pop it out with your fingers.

The tabs seem like a great idea on a wall with no insulation, but they are too long slide in to a wall with insulation (vs others I've used). I don't think they need to be so long, I can't see that being useful. And with only top and bottom support and no tabs on the sides, in a tight situation like that if there torque left and right it doesn't support too well.
