Good sound and ambient noise reduction when directly connected by cable. The Bluetooth connection is wonky When there is a break in the sound such as a quiet part of anything the connection is dropped. On the next sound it takes a couple of seconds to reconnect. I really didn't need voice or noise activated headphones. They are useless as wireless headphones. I have a ccouple of other makes of headphones and they don't do that..
