Hard to beat for the money. The keys are very sensitive, which can take some getting used to for a touch typist. The lack of a right-hand shift key is an impediment to really fast typing, but mostly a minor annoyance.

Installation was fairly straightforward, but it is better to straighten out the exposed wire through the upper part of the unit, or it will twist horribly upon final assembly. Also, do not leave excessive amounts of wire which will have to be crammed into the electrical box in the ceiling. When I first installed the lamp I made both of these mistakes. As it happened, I had to take it down and install it in another room, and then everything went smoothly and the installation is perfect. This is more or less a two-person job; certain stages of the installation would be very difficult for one person (unless they had 4 arms!) All things considered, I am very satisfied with the product; it is simple and elegant, and very good value for the price. pgs in Montreal
