the power port didn't originally seem to work - for some reason my macbook reported that it was only only running on power adapter on not charging the battery - had to clear SMC and now it works. the other usbC port DOES NOT work for sending the signal to my monitor not does the usb A port work with my old USB headset dongle

For fellow Android users - click on the link in the product description page - the app is HomeMate app by Homemate365 co, ltd. For a moment there, I thought I bought obsoleteware! So far - the linking to the smart socket has been pretty easy. And so far the timer function seems to be working fine! Other reviewers warning of how our smart home devices home wifi passwords are probably stored up on HomeMate servers is a little unnerving...but what else can you do about smarthome devices other than have them on a different access point and a good strong password?
