This basic surge protector is doing exactly what it's supposed to do: give you more power outlets to plug in all of your cool electronic stuff. Will it protect your things correctly if there's a power surge? I honestly don't know and I hope I'll never find out!

The ball joint is not really good. I have to really tight it up a LOT to keep my 105cm reflector in place. It's impossible to use it outside because there's no way it'll be able to stay in place with the reflector catching even in a light breeze. At least it was inexpensive!

I'm not sure if it's the cable's or the phone's (Nexus 5) fault, but I have occasional freeze frames when I'm using it to watch video content such as Netflix. But to show your last vacation photos to your family, it's working great!

The only reason I give 4.5 out of 5 is because of the micro USB connector that is too big for some smartphone cases. But overall, this cable is working exactly like I was expecting it to!
