SurgeArrest Home/Office 8-Outlet Surge Suppressor/Protector - APC - Black

I've been using it for about a month, no issues so far. Has a flat plug at a 45° angle so it can be plugged in anywhere. The cord is longer than other power bars which is nice. Outlet layout and spacing is okay, might have trouble with some combinations of plugs and adapters. The main switch isn't well protected from accidental bumps, so don't put it by your feet!

I've been using it for about a month, no issues so far. Has a flat plug at a 45° angle so it can be plugged in anywhere. The cord is longer than other power bars which is nice. The cord is attached to the unit with a swivel so you can route the cord out of the way. USB ports are nice to have but I probably won't need them. Outlet layout and spacing is great, should be easy to fit any combination of plugs and adapters.

I didn't receive exactly what was described on the product page. Here's what I received: A 433MHz remote (not IR), which avoids the problems with range! However, it uses a 12V battery and only has 4 buttons (power, temperature, brightness, 30 min timer). The base of the lamp has the same four buttons. This means that the brightness cannot be adjusted up or down and there are only 5 levels (a downgrade from what is described). However, there are also 5 different temperatures (an upgrade from 3). Aside from those inconsistencies, I like the lamp. The power cord is too short for a standing desk, unless you attach your power outlets to the desktop. The angle adjustment of the head is too stiff though and feels like it could break from the force required. I would like if it was taller or if the middle hinge were closer to the top.

Got this to used with a laptop holder, it works great! Only minor issue is that the clamp is a bit awkward for my desktop (2 cm thick), as the smallest position is so close to being flush, but the middle position doesn't tighten enough.
