I tried various USB cables, but this item can hardly supply 1A, let alone the 2A that it's supposedly rated for. I ended up buying another product which works as expected.

Works OK. The only issue I have is it does not fit the socket well. It tends to loosen and then needs to be pressed in again.

I bought this product to use on rental cars on a trip to Hawaii so we could charge our Ipad while away from the hotel during the day; however, it never worked in all three of the cars we rented and we can't seem to get it to work on either of our cars at home. Not sure what the problem is as I use other car chargers all the time. I didn't complain about it as it was too much of a hassle for what I paid for it.

Bought this in September 2014 and still working like magic. This is high quality charger and not like dollar store quality. So don't get fooled by the price because this is a great charger for your iPhone or Android.

The unit is nice and small. There is a blue ON led under the plastic cover at the back end of the unit. However, the copy I got only works intermittently. To get it to stay ON I have to wiggle it around in the lighter socket.
