It's hard to complain about this mount for the price. It's relatively no frills, but does the job it's intended to. My only beef is the knob/grip on the end of the tightening screw. It protrudes further than the bottom part of the mounting plate (side desk mount). If your desk has a skirting as mine does, it means you have to tighten the clamp before you can push the mount completely into place.

Bought this desk mount to hold a 24 inch Dell monitor and have minimal issues after 8 business days. The monitor cannot keep the tilt at a proper angle and requires continuous adjustment. I resolved the issue by using 2 angular plates, machine screw, and bolt. Please note that I also spend ten dollars more to buy another gas spring desk mount for another 24 inch monitor. I would recommend spending the extra for the gas spring desk mount to avoid the tilt issue.

For the price this thing is great. Easy to put together. The screws were a tad too long for my monitor but i had some washers laying around.

Great item. No problems setting up. The black finish comes off on your walls if it rubs against your paint. But a magic eraser will get rid of that. You might need a pair of pliers or socket wrench to tighten the bolts to angle the monitor if you would like to put it in a vertical position as that was the only extra work that was needed to put up the arm.
