We lost the charger that came with the Ipad and many AC/USB chargers don't have the amperage to charge it. This works very well. Having the ability to charge two devices at once is handy, too.

I bought two of these. One was for an old windows machine and it worked immediately. The other was for a Raspberry Pi and I was't sure if it would be supported but it was. Both worked immediately, without requiring any drivers. Excellent!
