I had a problem with the 123 black toner cartridge from an order a few years ago. I stopped using the printer when the toner escaped into the printer and caused ghosting. I think the chip was too high and did not allow the gears to seat properly, thus the seal was not tight. I have cleaned the printer recently and am trying a new 123 black cartridge again. The printer never had a problem before that cartridge so I hope a new one works. The printer has always been great in the past. :)) Ann
