Fits and is able to support the weight of my iPad 3. The part that holds the tablet is nice and the tablet goes in and out easily. It's about 22 inches fully extended. A few things kept me from loving it. At it's highest position I can't tilt forward far enough for it to be level. Ball joint pops out if tilting too far. The tension bolt is impossible to adjust in either direction on mine. It's to the point where the screw is now partially stripped and it still won't budge in either direction.

Build quality was kind of cheap. Missing paddings for the arm base in the package. Doesn't hold the 12" iPad pro 1st gen in place unless you tighten the arm joint bolt very tight. But this defeats the purpose of moving the arm around. Works fine with iPad mini and up-to about iPad air. Anything heavier than that will not work properly. For the price, I would not recommend this product.
